Venison & Red Onion Burgers

Locally sourced venison, 5.5oz burgers with red onion chutney, made in our shop in Bideford. 

Our venison is shot in the local area by a handful of highly experienced huntsman. Our supplier manages the population and health of the wild herds across areas of land in the North Devon area. Our venison is not farmed, so therefore is of course completely free from any antibiotics, or medicines. They will have grazed naturally on the local trees, grass, and Devon hedgerows, migrating across different areas on a regular basis.

A great alternative to beef, this meat is flavoursome and lean, packed with a diverse range of nutrients, thanks to the wild and varied diet the deer consume. The food miles on this meat is extremely low in comparison to any farmed meats which have to go to an abattoir to be killed, additionally, from an ethical point of view, venison is a very humane choice because it involves no stress for the animal, or human intervention in its life cycle.
