Halls Honey - Creamed

Creamed honey from Halls Honey, based in Umberleigh. 

Set, creamed honey is made using a churning process which breaks down the structure of the sugar to make it smooth. It won't set solid like runny honey would if left to crystallise naturally.

Toby Hall started beekeeping when he was 13 years old, and since then has gradually increased his number of hives over the years. He now has 200 thriving colonies scattered across the North Devon countryside, pollinating a variety of apple orchards, bramble, clover, rosebay willow herb, balsam, chestnut & heather. Working in conjunction with local farmers, most of his apiaries are kept in wildflower meadows on stewardship scheme land.
