Our Christmas turkeys are raised at Orchard Farm, near Crediton. The family farm is a small scale, local producer, with a strong commitment to high welfare standards. The birds are free range during the day, with access paddocks & orchards and freedom to forage. In the evenings, they are housed in straw bedded barns with natural light and plenty of space.
The birds are raised pecking on windfall apples, and locally grown mixed cereals, as well as whole wheat and oats, which are grown on the neighbouring farm.
Please note, this year's turkeys are a fixed price per each weight bracket.
Free-Range Bronze
- Grown slowly and until full maturity.
- Fed on high quality, natural feeds.
- Raised on a small-scale, local farm that ensures the highest welfare standards.
- Individually packed in presentation boxes with separately packed giblets.
Available in a range of sizes from 4-10kg+, As a guide allow 500-600g uncooked weight per adult.
